COVID-19

In efforts to decrease unnecessary exposure, we will be following the World Health Organization (WHO) guideline on the number of prenatal appointments required. This means that we will reducing the number of times you come into our office. We will contact you if your upcoming appointment(s) are to be changed. We are requesting that our clients limit the number of people attending these visits, and to come on their own if possible.

Postpartum home visits will continue, however, extra measures are being put in place for everyone’s protection. The nature and schedule of these visits will be determined case by case, but please let us know if anyone in your home is sick. We will likely try and do part of the visit over the phone in order to keep in person contact to a minimum.

When coming to our office, please read the posted signage at the front door. If you are sick, please do not come into the office. Call us to let us know.

Stevenson Memorial Hospital will be screening all visitors and staff who enter the hospital. The birthing unit is limiting visitors to 1 per person.
